Members Credo

As a member of the Rand Hunters Association, I solemnly undertake the principles and to pursue them and to live by it to the best of my ability.

• To act responsibly in the hunt and thus fulfilling my responsibility regarding the hunt and conservation.
• That my actions will not jeopardise the name of Rand Hunters Association and that of the association's goals and values and ​​at all times be held high.
• To improve my knowledge and ability as a hunter which will enforce respect in the hunting field.
• To do everything in my power to contribute to the conservation of our natural resources.
• To be honest and fair at all times and to do everything in my power never to bring this into question.
• To hunt with knowledge and compassion and do everything to prevent suffering.
• To treat all firearms with respect and to strictly adhere to all laws, ordinances and regulations, prescriptions and requirements at all times.
• To protect all Fauna and Flora and to abide by all laws.
• To strive to propagate knowledge and love for the game and nature, to cultivate and promote and to realise good sportsmanship in the hunt and everyday involvement among the youth and the old.

• Please note that the Constitution of the Rand Hunters Association is the framework of the association and members must meet and act within the framework of the guidelines which serves as the foundation to all members which are to be bound to it.

Lede Credo

• Om in die jagveld verantwoordelik op te tree en sodoende my verantwoordelikheid te vervul aangaande die jag en bewaring.
• Dat my optrede die naam van die Randse Jagtersvereniging nie in gedrang sal bring nie en die vereniging se doelstellings en waardes te alle tye hooggehou sal word.
• Om my kennis en vermoë as jagter te verbeter in die jagveld dat dit agting sal afdwing.
• Om alles in my vermoë te doen en by te dra tot die bewaring van ons natuurlike hulpbronne.
• Om ten alle tye eerlik en regverdig op te tree en alles in my vermoë te doen om dit nooit in gedrang te bring nie.
• Om met kennis en deernis te jag en alles in my vermoë te doen om onnodige lyding te voorkom.
• Om ten alle tye alle vuurwapens met respek te hanteer en om alle wette, ordonansies, regulasies en all voorskrifte streng na te kom.
• Om alle Fauna en Flora te beskerm en alle wette streng na te kom.
• Om te strewe om jou kennis en liefde vir die wild en natuur te kweek en te bevorder om goeie sportmanskap in die jagveld en allerdaagse omgang uit te leef en dit onder jonk en oud te propageer.
• Let asseblief dat die Grondwet van die Randse Jagtersvereniging is die raamwerk van handeling van die vereniging en lede moet voldoen en optree binne die raamwerk van die riglyne en dit dien as grondslag. Alle lede is gebonde daaraan.
